Realizing the need for providing an inclusive quality health care system to Indians, and In line with the Vision of our Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, “सबका स्वास्थ्य, सबका विकास" TIFAC conceptualized and implementing Pilot Tele Digital Health Project towards Swasthya Bharat. The project is to assess and demonstrate the efficacy of cutting edge technologies for telediagnosis. The scalable project (PLUG and PLAY model) aims to provide quality medical care to underprivileged women and children living in remote areas at affordable costs. The pioneering project demonstrates the efficacy of applying cutting-edge Tele diagnostic technologies.
The pilot project in partnership with IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation and C DAC Mohali is being implemented in three districts of India Gorakhpur, Varanasi and Kamjong (Manipur) with respective Outreach Academic partners: Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur, BHU Varanasi and NIT Manipur.The health data record would be transferred to the e-Sanjeevani cloud and simultaneously HER would be generated.
The project was inaugurated by Hon'ble Minister for S&T, Dr. Jitendra Singh Ji on 31st December 2021 at B.H.U Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh in august presence of Shri Ravindra Jaiswal Hon'ble Minister of State U.P. Government.
